Road surface acquisition software

During system operation, the collection software can control all sensor control modules and view the collection status and data in real-time on the interface.

Features: real-time, accuracy, and visualization

Road surface processing software

(1) Can simultaneously view the road surface data, ROW data, IRI data, rut data, and GPS data collected by the system;
(2) It can automatically identify road surface diseases, such as cracks, potholes, subsidence, etc., and requires manual review;
(3) Can automatically output project reports, evaluate road surface smoothness and rutting degree, and output PCI reports

Fully Automated Standards-Compliant Workflow

zoyon has developed a fully automated workflow that generates industry-standard condition ratings ready for use in your, or your client’s, RMS.

Detailed results are reported along with RMS-ready overall condition scores according to the PASER and the PSCI standards. File output formats include JPEG, SHP (for GIS integration) and XML.

Simple to Deploy and Efficient to Use

The RIMS is a single-sensor solution that can be easily added to your existing MMS platform and can receive positioning data from your existing GNSS and DMI (if equipped).

Operation is designed to avoid impact to existing mobile mapping operations and data collection speeds up to 95km/h (60mph) are supported, day or night.

Lane coverage is a full 4 meters (13.2 feet) and is fully compliant with the industry best practice of one pass per direction for pavement condition rating.

Superior to Visual Inspection and 2D Camera-based Approaches

RIMS technology combines 3D scanning laser and computer-based analysis to go beyond approaches based on subjective visual pavement inspection and/or 2D camera.

With the RIMS  a 3D scanning laser is used to measure wheel-path rutting to the millimetre and to physically measure pavement distress dimensions (length, depth and width).

This approach creates more accurate, precise and repeatable inputs for Pavement Management compared to visual inspection and simple camera-based (cellphone or even commercial hardware) approaches.

The Most Widely Trusted Pavement Sensor Family

The RIMS  is part of the LCMS sensor family which leads the pavement inspection industry with more than 500 systems delivered to users in more than 45 countries around the world.
